Durban, South Africa.

We had a very fast night sail from Richards Bay to Durban and arrived as the sun was up.

Very busy Durban harbour; these squares are AIS targets of ships, both at anchor waiting to enter and those ships already in the harbour.
Its a big town with about 3.8 m inhabitants.

Here the control tower give me permission to enter.
Durban Marina, where they squeezed me into a very tight corner. Wonder how I can get out again.

Stormy weather our first night in the Marina.

We took a three hours bus tour of Durban. Not much of interest, but we now have a better understanding of the town and its layout. Photos from the tour are, as follows:

Mercedes, BMW, Toyota and others are manufacturing cars in South Africa and there are always the car transporting ships in Durban Harbour.

 A  bit "folkloric".

On of the stadiums build for the world cup football. Can contain 65.000 spectators. Nice design.

A very attractive house on top of the town.
Went for a walk in Durban and the photos are below.

This is Zulu medicine... not nice to look at and small.
