Saint Helena.

Made a tour of Saint Helena and visited most of the interesting sites

.NB: It should be James Town and not George Town.

 Jamestown.

 Jacobs Ladder with 699 steps.

Rough to get off the "ferry boat".

We invited eight sailors for Sushi as we had caught a lot of fish on our way.
Longwood House where Napoleon stayed for most parts of his 5.5 years in exile (see more photos below - sorry the order is mixed up).

 Nice garden he had.

 The Governor's House is impressive.

This is Jonathan and he is almost 200 years old. His back legs are no longer the best.

S/Y New Dawn seen from the to of the rock at Jacobs Ladder.

Look well and you will see the hart shaped waterfall - this date without much water.

The first house Napoleon stayed at until Longwood House was ready.

The view from the Bartrand's House.

The airport newly constructed and have had numerous problems because of sidewinds and low hanging clouds. There will be only one flight per week from Johannesburg. Cost GBP 650 million.

The weather station sending up a balloon.

 Back to Longwood House.

 Dramatic scenery on this island.

I have many friends that have visited the Island.
